The 3700-year-old refund request

In London’s British Museum there is a carved tablet from 1750 B.C.
But this tablet doesn’t tell about a glorious battle and it’s not a religious text.
It’s a customer complaint.
The tablet is a letter from a customer named Nanni to a copper ore merchant named Ea-nasir. The letter says that Nanni was not satisfied with all the copper that Ea-nasir sent to him.
It was a request for refund.
Dissatisfied customers have been around since commerce began.
They kill the spirit and profitability of many an entrepreneur.
So get rid of them.
Huh?
Or, I should say, let someone else deal with them.
So you can focus on making money.
Here’s how…
Best,
Sai Hseng
